What is A Welcome Flood?
A Welcome Flood is an organization dedicated to promoting awareness about the shortage of clean drinking water in the developing world. 20% of our proceeds go directly to Charity: Water to fund long term projects such as drilling wells in areas of the world where there is a severe need for clean drinking water.
What does your name mean?
People normally think of floods as life shattering events. Floods destroy homes, crops, property, and lives. There are people around the world though that are in need of a flood of clean water via charities. They will welcome a flood of more than just clean water, but a flood of compassion from others around the world. It is the responsiblity of the developed world to ensure that all human beings have access to potable water which the building block of all life and civilization.
Why are we doing this?
Simply put- because we can. We have the time, energy, and resources to do this right now so we will. We love designing things and we love people so it makes sense. We are not doing this to make money or because we are bored with our lives. We are serious about the water shortage in the world and we are going to do what we can to help alleviate this situation. We don’t want you to buy a shirt, we want you to be informed about the problem and get involved in the solution.
Why water?
We are concerned with this issue right now because without clean drinking water people die unnecessary deaths. Water is elemental to all life on Earth. The World Health Organization has estimated that 80% of all sickness and disease in the world is attributable to inadequate water or sanitation. Over 1.1 Billion people still don’t have access to clean water. We believe that access to clean drinking water is a fundamental human right, that is why we are doing this.
How much is shipping?
Domestic- Shipping is $3.00 for the first item with an additional $1.50 charge per extra item.
International- Shipping is $7.50 for the first item with an additional $5.00 charge per extra item.
What brand of shirts do you print on?
All shirts are printed on American Apparel.

How long until I receive my order?
All items are shipped within 1 business day of the time of your purchase via USPS First Class mail, and should take 2-5 days from shipping date to reach your doorstep. In some cases 1 week at the latest. International orders will vary in shipping time on a country to country basis.
